Cellulite is one of all women’s worst nightmares. When it hits, it‘s so difficult to get rid of. No matter how good your body and skin look, it doesn’t necessarily mean your body won’t get it. It even could look worse with varicose veins.
As always, I do not write about things until I test them on myself and/or someone from my surrounding, while keeping an eye on the progress. So, I’m here today to tell you that the blend I’m gonna talk about DOES help reduce cellulite!!!!
Before you start applying the blend, always take a photo of the area you want to work on so you can compare the progress and the time taken for your body to respond. In our case here, let’s assume you are targeting your thighs: the best position is to sit down and look at the sides of your thighs. You will see the cellulite and those dimples so clear. Now take a photo of this and keep it for comparison.
In a 2oz bottle:
1 tablespoon vitamin E (optional)
6 drop grapefruit essential oil
6 drop juniper berry essential oil
6 drop cypress essential oil
Fill it up with sunflower seed oil and shake vigorously.
Now the blend is ready. All you need is to apply some (like 1 teaspoon) on the targeted area, massage gently until the oil is absorbed. Let it sit. It wont feel greasy so no need to shower. It works best if you do this after taking a shower as your body would be warm and so absorb the oil faster. Do it nightly for 2 weeks and then stop. Take your second photo and compare results.
If you still need more, just give a week break and then continue. In the case I worked with, it took two weeks for the dimples to almost vanish!
Why these oils?
Grapefruit essential oil breaks down fats,
Juniper berry essential oil clears toxins from body,
Cypress essential oil reduces varicose veins,
Vitamin is a natural antioxidant
Sunflower seed oil is the fastest to absorb
You can also add a few drops of any of these essential oils to your shower gel.
Note: if you can not find all the oils, just use grapefruit essential oil with a carrier, its effective enough on its own for cellulites. Adding more oils is for stronger effect and more than one benefit!

This recipe uses what are generally considered safe essential oils, but please keep in mind that while completely natural, all essential oils are powerful plant compounds that you and your family (including your pets) might have a reaction to. Never use essential oils undiluted or take essential oils internally (diluted or undiluted) without the guidance of a professional, and always read up about the possible side effects of each type of oil before you use it. Avoid the use of essential oils (diluted or undiluted) during the first trimester of pregnancy, on babies, and on anyone with severe allergies to the plants the oils are derived from. And if you see any reactions in yourself, your family, or your pets, stop use of your essential oil products immediately and contact a medical professional.
When using essential oils, be careful and read the instructions on the label. Misusing essential oils could be harmful.
The topical application of essential oils may prove to be extra beneficial because the transdermal properties of the oil permeate your skin and enter your bloodstream faster. Your olfactory nerve receptors also sense the smell and send signals to your brain.
However, before topical application, you should patch test oils on your skin by rubbing a small drop on the inside of your wrist and letting it sit for 24 hours. If there is no reaction within this time, the essential oil may be safe for you to use. Patch test essential oils every time before using them on children. We do not recommend using essential oils on babies younger than one-year-old.
