Essential Oils & Cancer!

With the continuous research and studies I have been doing, I came up with this article to list some effective essential oils that may fight cancer, while explaining how and why this happens.

It all started when a dear friend of mine was already diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and then said to have gotten better. However she got more complications over time and cancer started attacking her body. While I was already in the middle of my own research, I got to know that she was admitted to the hospital and knew the details which were heart breaking. I then decided to go further with my studies where I worked on completing diplomas in Essential Oils & Aromatherapy, and finished my studies in Natural Holistic Essential Oils, and Natural Holistic Remedies.

Now going back to our subject, after I finished the above, I started going more into depth with essential oils and their components that fight cancerous cells. My researches are all based on existing studies and medicinal experiments. With the fact that I have always gotten amazing results with essential oils myself, I’m all hope that this would work with my friend!

I’m though very tight in time, as she is at stage four now and in two months will have a CT Scan to see if there is any change. What’s so helpful though is her spirit, and her kids who are super loving. Her older son started getting everything right after hearing from me about essential oils. He also started his own research about the oils I mentioned, and started applying them while connected with me.

Now, the oils that have anti cancer properties are as follows:

Citrus essential oils have a major component called “D-limonene” which has three main roles in dealing with cancerous cells:

  1. Reducing the size of a tumor

  2. Stopping the spread of cancerous cells

  3. Triggering Apoptosis which is a “programmed cell death”, i.e. existing cells would suicide

List of citrus oils that are rich in D-limonene are as follows, highest to lowest:

  • Orange

  • Grapefruit

  • Clementine

  • Tangerine

  • Lemon (distilled and expressed)

  • Celery seed

  • Mandarin

  • Tangelo

  • Dill seed

  • Elemi

  • Palo santo

  • Yuzu

  • Lime (expressed & distilled)

  • Fir needle, silver

  • Bergamot

  • Caraway

Also a strong duo of oils, Frankincense and Myrrh, comes on top of the list in fighting cancerous cells.

I personally LOVE frankincense, it’s called “King of Essential Oils” for a reason, and while researching and studying I got to know it‘s absolutely AMAZING! I first started by buying a bottle of frankincense diluted in jojoba oil (30% frankincense/70% Jojoba). And when I started using it I ended up buying another undiluted bottle, 2.5 times the price of the first bottle And I’m happy with that!

What can Frankincense do?

In addition to its effectiveness in killing cancer cells, frankincense essential oil is a natural pain killer with NO side effects. It can help ease the side effects of chemo and radiology. It also can treat other issues related to digestion, immune system, stress and anxiety, and much more.

Myrrh had been used in the old ages as a natural anti infection remedy. It also has anti cancer properties, and mixing it with Frankincense has a synergistic effect.

The list goes longer with anti-cancer essential oils which includes:

  • Cinnamon oil

  • Lemon Balm oil

  • Cardamom oil

  • Ginger oil

  • Sandalwood oil

These oils have preventive effect against cancer, and most can have apoptotic effect (cancer cells programmed death). The fact that essential oils are so effective on our health in general makes it just an amazing addition to our life no matter what. So, what if we can even prevent that evil cancer? Worth a try no?

Now to jump into the recipe, the best dilution ratio I would say here is 3-4%. What does this mean?

In a 10ml bottle, a total of 9-12 drops of essential oils is to be added in the bottle. Then, fill the bottle up with a carrier oil.

My favorite carrier oils in this case are:

  • Coconut oil (fractionated)

  • Sunflower seed oil

Yes, Sunflower Seed Oil, the one you use in cooking. Why? Cos it has no smell, the thinnest, and can just help spread the essential oil over the affected area and have it absorbed faster into your bloodstream.

And yes, essential oils get into your blood stream, that’s how they do their job. It takes an essential oil 2 min to get into the bloodstream, and 20 min to reach all your organs.

Now, once you have your blend bottle, apply some of the blend to the affected area/tumor. If the cancer is spreading or if it‘s affecting an organ, apply the blend on the abdomen, particularly around the belly button, and massage clockwise. Lets say for 30 sec? You‘re not “massaging” your abdomen here, it’s just that you‘re helping the oil get absorbed.

Now do this up to 3 times a day. If you see yourself tolerating this, you could go up to 7 times within the 24 hrs. Always monitor yourself for any reaction, which could be discomfort in your abdomen, swelling, nausea, etc. If you notice any, stop and feel free to contact me to see what we could do about it. Remember, essential oils are super effective and so increasing the drops could make it harder to tolerate so a key to not get any discomfort starts with using the correct dilution ratio.

Tip: To avoid having cancer gets used to the oil blend in use, change the blend biweekly. The change could be by adding, removing, or replacing one of the essential oils in use.

This recipe uses what are generally considered safe essential oils, but please keep in mind that while completely natural, all essential oils are powerful plant compounds that you and your family (including your pets) might have a reaction to. Never use essential oils undiluted or take essential oils internally (diluted or undiluted) without the guidance of a professional, and always read up about the possible side effects of each type of oil before you use it. Avoid the use of essential oils (diluted or undiluted) during the first trimester of pregnancy, on babies, and on anyone with severe allergies to the plants the oils are derived from. And if you see any reactions in yourself, your family, or your pets, stop use of your essential oil products immediately and contact a medical professional.

When using essential oils, be careful and read the instructions on the label. Misusing essential oils could be harmful.

The topical application of essential oils may prove to be extra beneficial because the transdermal properties of the oil permeate your skin and enter your bloodstream faster. Your olfactory nerve receptors also sense the smell and send signals to your brain.

However, before topical application, you should patch test oils on your skin by rubbing a small drop on the inside of your wrist and letting it sit for 24 hours. If there is no reaction within this time, the essential oil may be safe for you to use. Patch test essential oils every time before using them on children. We do not recommend using essential oils on babies younger than one-year-old.
